Nigeria first, US one tap away. Every stock sorted into three clear groups so you know where to look.

What it is

Kobo & Cents is a research tool for people who invest in Nigerian and US stocks. It brings together everything you need to understand a company before you put money into it: how the price has moved, whether the business is actually healthy, and the news that is moving it right now.

The Nigerian market is the default view. A single toggle switches to US stocks. The two markets are always kept in separate, clearly labelled views, so naira and dollar figures never get mixed up on the same screen.

Every stock lands in one of three groups: performing well, showing potential, or underperforming. You can filter by sector (Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Information Technology and more) and still see which group each company falls into.

Why it exists

Researching a stock properly usually means opening four or five websites. One for the price chart, one for financials, one for news, maybe a forum. None of them agree with each other, and most of them assume you already know what a P/E ratio or a current ratio means.

For Nigerian investors it is harder still. The apps that cover both Nigerian and US stocks are brokers first. Their main job is getting you to buy and sell, and research sits in the background. The research tools built for global markets mostly do not cover the Nigerian Exchange at all.

Kobo & Cents was built to fill that gap: one calm, honest place to do the thinking before you open your broker.

That is also why there is no buy or sell button anywhere in the product. It is a deliberate choice, not a missing feature. When an app makes money from your trades, it has a reason to push you towards trading. Kobo & Cents does not, so it can stay focused on one job: helping you understand what you are looking at.
